Climate Resiliency Planning in Massachusetts

Join ACEC/MA at CDM Smith in Boston for this in-person breakfast program with a Zoom option focused on climate resiliency planning and infrastructure delivery across the Commonwealth.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand current approaches to incorporating climate resilience into building codes and infrastructure design criteria in Massachusetts.
  2. Learn how resilience considerations are applied during project planning, design development, and review for public infrastructure projects.
  3. Examine how climate risk, hazard mitigation, and long-term performance considerations affect infrastructure design decisions.
  4. Identify ways engineering consultants can support resilient outcomes through design, analysis, and coordination with public agencies.

This program will grant 2 PDHs.

The ACEC/MA Engineering Excellence and Awards Competition recognizes engineering achievements that demonstrate the highest degree of merit and ingenuity.

Join us for the Academy Awards of the Engineering Industry as we celebrate the year’s outstanding engineering achievements. Hear about the best projects of the year and help us honor the firms and clients that created them.

If your firm is planning to submit a project for the FY2027 Engineering Excellence Awards, we will provide this information in September 2026.

Member Briefings

Building a Better Business Programs

ACEC/Massachusetts is offering members the opportunity to present a business program at an ACEC/MA. These meetings may be held in conjunction with our Membership Meetings. Note: these programs MUST be educational in nature – no sales pitches.

Final selection for programs will be made by the Program Committee. Proposals will be considered in the order they are received. ACEC/Massachusetts guarantee attendance.

To submit your program for consideration, download the RFP form (to be posted soon) and email completed form to ACEC/MA.

Building a Better Business Webinars

ACEC/Massachusetts offers periodic, non-PDH webinars on timely and relevant business topics for engineering professionals.

Business webinars should be no more than  hour and should provide information relevant to our membership (no sales pitches). These webinars does NOT qualify for PDH credit. However, it may meet requirements for other professional development programs. Check with the administrator of your professional program for more information.
