ACEC/MA Building Engineering Committee (BEC) Briefing

For our January 21, 2026 Meeting, please join ACEC/MA's BEC where we will be joined by Carleton Jones, Executive Director of the Public Facilities Department who will brief the committee on the department’s priorities and plans. The City of Boston Public Facilities department supports other City of Boston departments in the planning, design, construction, and major renovations of City-owned buildings. This will be a hybrid meeting 

The PFD Executive Director administers the mission, policies and practices of the Board and selection process.

BEC Co-Chairs Emily Roberts and Mike Camoscio plan to be Hybrid for this Meeting from the Aldrich Center @ The Engineering Center, 1 Walnut St #1, Boston, MA 02108. Anyone local is welcome to join us in person.

The ACEC/MA Engineering Excellence and Awards Competition recognizes engineering achievements that demonstrate the highest degree of merit and ingenuity.

Join us for the Academy Awards of the Engineering Industry as we celebrate the year’s outstanding engineering achievements. Hear about the best projects of the year and help us honor the firms and clients that created them.

If your firm is planning to submit a project for the FY2027 Engineering Excellence Awards, we will provide this information in September 2026.

Submissions for FY2026 are closed.

Member Briefings

Building a Better Business Programs

ACEC/Massachusetts is offering members the opportunity to present a business program at an ACEC/MA. These meetings may be held in conjunction with our Membership Meetings. Note: these programs MUST be educational in nature – no sales pitches.

Final selection for programs will be made by the Program Committee. Proposals will be considered in the order they are received. ACEC/Massachusetts guarantee attendance.

To submit your program for consideration, download the RFP form (to be posted soon) and email completed form to ACEC/MA.

Building a Better Business Webinars

ACEC/Massachusetts offers periodic, non-PDH webinars on timely and relevant business topics for engineering professionals.

Business webinars should be no more than  hour and should provide information relevant to our membership (no sales pitches). These webinars does NOT qualify for PDH credit. However, it may meet requirements for other professional development programs. Check with the administrator of your professional program for more information.
